Rating your own ability level can be tough so check out some of the guidelines below to help make it easier! 

  • I have never ridden a mountain bike before; if I have it has been very limited
  • My experience on a bike in general is very limited
  • I am intimidated by technical features on the trail like bridges, roots and rocks
  • I am intimidated of going downhill
  • I want my ride to focus on the views and don’t need to have an intense experience
  • I have some experience mountain biking but I lack confidence especially when the trail gets tough
  • I am intimidated by going downhill

  • I have some cycling experience outside of mountain biking and feel comfortable on a bike
